A few months ago, Google started showing users a small “change your routing number” window.
The number in the window was a reference to the Google Mesh Router app and not a real-time number.
Now, a new feature allows users to change the number at any time, even while they’re connected to the internet.
Users can go to Settings > Network > Networks and turn on the “Change routing number on mobile” option.
If they choose the “Enable change of routing number,” the number will pop up as a new setting.
To change it, go to the app on your mobile device and select “Settings > Mobile Networks.”
In this new setting, users can change the routing number to a specific number, such as “1234567890.”
If they don’t, they can go back to the Settings > Mobile Devices tab and go back and select the “Mobile Networks” option, which will take you to the settings screen for that specific number.
When you change the setting, you’ll notice that the routing is updated automatically, so you’ll see the routing change on your device when you log in to the service.
This means users can make the switch as they move around the web.
Google’s new “change routing number at home” feature is available on both Android and iOS devices.
Users will need to download the app from the Google Play Store or Google’s website to enable the feature.
