A few days ago, I wrote about the latest iteration of Silk Road , the website that I started to build in 2014 as a way to try and track down the elusive online marketplace known as The Silk Road.
Since then, I’ve seen a lot of news stories about the new Silk Road and its various operators.
A lot of those stories, like the one about a “stealing” investigation of SilkRoad2.0 , have been false, according to a report from The New York Times.
So what exactly is the Silk Route?
What does it do?
And what has happened since the site was shut down in February?
Today, I spoke with Mark Karpeles, the CEO of the company that operates the site and who also founded it.
And I learned a few things.
First, the “Silk Road 2.”0” has nothing to do with the real Silk Road or any other Silk Road competitor.
And it’s true that there’s a rumor that the new site, “SilK” in the news, has something to do, at least in part, with the old Silk Road’s name.
But the real “Silks” aren’t the same thing as the fake ones that have popped up in various corners of the Internet over the years.
And even if you’re a fan of the Silk, there are plenty of other ways to buy things online that don’t involve using a Silk Road-style website.
Second, the site’s real name has nothing at all to do at all with The Silk Roads actual name.
The real name of the site, and the real name for any other website, is the same.
And in the case of The Silk, that’s “SilCo.”
So, to be clear, this new site isn’t “SilSilK.”
It’s not “SilSc.
I’m just trying to find some way to describe something that’s been in existence for over a year, with very little attention paid to it.
I guess I’ll just call it the new “SilKn.”
That’s all it is.
It’s the same site that I’ve been using to track down people who have gone missing, or to get their addresses.
So there’s no real reason for this site to be called “SilS.”
If it were a real Silk, I’d be in serious trouble.
What does it actually do?
According to the latest press reports, the new website has been shut down, with only a few hundred people still using it.
That’s because Karpels’ team decided to stop running The Silk when the site shut down and has now been replaced by another one called The Silk 2.1.
This new site is much larger and much more complicated, and it’s being marketed as a different kind of marketplace.
That said, there is a lot that remains of the original Silk, and there’s still plenty of evidence of the illegal activity that went on in The Silk.
In addition to the old site’s listings, there’s evidence that Karples’ team used a similar tactic to track and disrupt illegal activity on the Silk Reloaded, a site that was run by an anonymous user named “Darth” in 2014.
It was run for several years by “Duckduckgo” and was largely considered to be a success.
But as of last month, Duckduckgos administrators were reported to have shut the site down and to be cooperating with law enforcement in their investigation.
And this is all the more reason for me to take this opportunity to say that the Silk 2 is a good thing, and that The Silk Reloaded was a great success, and both were shut down.
(I’ll also note that, unlike The Silk or The Silk2, The Silk is not an actual, physical product, so the only evidence of its existence will be the listings.)
I’m not entirely sure how to explain what’s happening to The Silk 3.0, however.
The “SilC” is still running, but it’s unclear if it will continue to operate as a marketplace.
There’s also a website that claims to be the new name of The SilC.
I haven’t been able to figure out if it’s the real SilC or the one that was rumored to be in The Sil 2.
I’ll be keeping an eye on this.
I’m also not entirely clear if the new SilCo will be run by the same people who operated The Silk before it was shuttered.
And if so, who will be running it?
I’ve talked to a lot more people who operate The Silk over the last few months, and they all have different ideas about who should be running The SilCo, but I don’t know for sure if they’ll all agree to it or not.
I have to admit, though, that I’m pretty interested in the new online marketplace The Silk for what it is: a way for me
